Please help me decide on the best bike for my daughter!

Hi,
I haven't been around since last year. I wanted to thank everyone for helping me decide which bike to buy for myself. I wound up with the Trek FX 7.5 and I love it! I now want to buy a bike for my daughter. The problem is that I am looking for a high bar bike with decent specs, for as close to $400 (or less if possible) that I can find. Unfortunately, she is only 13 and concerned with looks more than performance
We are riding on the road only with some hills. She basically needs the lightest, and quickest of the bunch that I listed.

I narrowed it down to a few bikes (unfortunately, none under $400)
Trek 7.2 WSD $525
Scott Metrix 40 $440
Specialized Vita $425
Raleigh Alysa FT0 $400

All of the above are acceptable choices to her, but it's hard for me to compare specs, because I don't know enough about the components to compare. I am the type that is concerned with the point of deminishing return on quality vs price. Without knowing too much, it seems to me that the Scott is the best deal here, but of course I don't know for sure. Can you guys please take a look at the links and tell me what you think?

Remember, I am already a little over the budget of what I was looking to spend on it. Thanks in advance!
Chris
