Thanks for the replies everyone. I had no idea that Reynolds 520 was the same as 4130 - which is why I asked, and glad I did. Again, the paint scheme of the SE doesn't bother me much and can be redone at a later time.

With this now known, how about the likes of the Sette Whipp frameset for much less money - again 4130:

Is it the quality of the build/welds that marks the price of the Whipp quite a bit lower than the other two? Will the welds be pretty bad? Thanks for all the help.
