Of those 3 you posted, I like the Cafe Noir the most. If you're just talking about dropping down off a curb or popping up one at low speed to make the transition from road to side walk from time to time, it should be fine. I wouldn't go blasting off the curb at 20mph, or even more so the other direction.
The brakes should be plenty powerful to bring you to a quick and controlled stop, and then some.
