Well I decided against using the doublebutted spokes I mentioned. Talked to the guy at the LBS and he suggested that I use the standard spokes that I had and he will cut them down with his Phil Woods spoke trimmer. He said that the problem was that I'm a really big guy and that double butted spokes have a tendency to flex more than straightwall spokes. He said I would probably find the doublebutted spoke wheel to flex laterally more than using standard spokes.

So I'm going to build it using normal spokes and hopefully everything should be great.
