So I finally got to see a Pugsly up close. I was genuinely shocked at those tires. They seemed significantly larger than what I had imagined. All of a sudden, I really want to ride one, lol.

I also took the plunge and bought clipless shoes. I've had enough of being told how much better clipless is. And with the season just starting to take shape, I decided to go for it. Pearl Izumi X-Alp seeks. Was told they're good shoes and they seem nice and stiff with good tread.

Also, I already have a nice set of crank brothers eggbeaters and have always wondered if they're up to mountain bike use? They aren't the kind that are built into a flat pedal.
