Believe it or not, I really was wondering about the lube -- rust after one ride really seemed weird/annoying.

The pic is fun, so I threw it in after the comment about the factory lube being especially durable to provide a little context as to how it would get messed up so fast. I would like to find an alternative to the wet lubes I've been using, but the light ones aren't even good for an hour in true slop. I've tried quite a few things over the years, but I keep an eye out just in case something new that I don't know about pops up.
