Every event ride I have been at they have had designated people with even t-shirts that hold your bike while you pee etc. when you get out of the dump box you come back to a bike with your water bottles filled... it rocks.
We have a ride out here like that. It (partly) benefits the Boy Scouts so the Scouts take care of you and your bike at the stops and one of the Scout mothers does a lot of baking for the event. She has made breads, muffins and cookies of all kinds for the ride and I always pig out at supported rides anyway.
