Now I'm confused - it sounds like you're describing a Cyclone M-II, which has a socket head nut for a cable anchor. The earlier cyclone has a drilled bolt with an acorn nut as SixtyFiver described.
Remove that confusion. I was thinking of the M-II, not the one I am using for the Nishiki C. Sorry about that:-(
