So for giggles, to see how/whether MMR+ had improved, and to compare Strava and MMR+ (actually MMF+ but they are the same) I used both simultaneously for a light ride on Friday. It was an easy, consistent spin and the perfect opportunity to dink around w/ software. Results:

Strava - 23.3miles, 501ft, 17.4mph avg, 38mph max.

MMF+ - 23.13miles, 17.1mph avg. The lame part is that the max speed and the elevation data is not listed on the sites "workout" summary (actually the max speed is nonexistent but not useful anyway). You actually have to go to the "Routes/Myrides" section to get more detailed data. Seriously silly but at least it is in there... So MMF+ gave me 436ft of gain.

Both apps were started w/in 10sec of each other and are roughly set up the same. The data is VERY comparable BUT there is almost a 15% difference in the elevation/gain results. Not at all a big difference for "fun use" but definitely statistically significant for real data junkies/users.
