I am seriously interested!
A USB ANT+ stick is required. They cost around $35. I'm not sure if it works with Quarq, but it does work with a Powertap. If it doesn't work with Quarq it'd take about an hour for me to fix the code to get it working. My code reads generic ANT+ data packets, so its just a matter of seeing if the quarq sends different data than the power tap and accounting for that. It'll work on any trainer, but if you want to use 'virtual' power (ie, if you dont have a power meter) then right now it's only for KK units. It spits out a garmin .fit file which can be uploaded to strava, garmin, golden cheetah, WKO+, wherever you want. I've verified my .fit files have data that is within 0.01% of what my garmin edge spits out, so they are accurate.

Maybe one day you can be a tester and help me verify quarq's work properly.
