I'm about that height and ride a 2008 Trek 2.1 in 43cm, with 650c wheels. I just looked and they don't seem to make anything in that size anymore, but the 47cm looks like it should be close, albeit with 700c wheels.

It's probably not relevant to a beginner, but when I eventually upgrade, I'm probably going to end up going with custom steel or titanium. Wheel and tire selections are limited in 650c compared to 700c and it seems like companies that made 650c wheels a few years ago aren't anymore, so I'm going to try to go with 700c next time if it's feasible.
