A sad day for EpicSchwinn :(

Right now I'm pretty depressed.

After coming home from work today I started to pull into the garage and heard a large crunch and crack.

That moment when you realize your bike is still on the bike rack and you just broke everything.

Got out and inspected the damage. Top tube is crushed in for about 6 inches and the fork is bent a ton. Totally unfixable. I have barely enough money to fill up my gas tank right now so the project is basically a bust. I built this thing up from the bare frame on day one with hopes of learning to race on the Burnaby Velodrome this summer. I'm just a college guy so making a bike as nice as it was (relative to what I can afford) took a ton of sacrifices and I probably spent way too much time and money on it. It was my baby and now it's all gone

I don't really know what to do now. I won't have the money to replace the frame at least until the end of summer but I don't know if I even want to replace it at that point. Should I just part it out and build up another bike in a year or two when I can actually afford it? Anybody else been in this kind of situation before?
