I encourage you to pursue it. However, where I live the police won't even take a report of an assault on a cyclists. (Yes, I do know this from experience.) We're like the blacks in the south prior to the Civil Rights movement. It's legal to harass, maim and kill us. It's illegal for us to try to do anything about it. Maybe someday this too shall change.
