Last time I saw a wheel like that, it was alien force fields or something experiemental the Livermore Nat'l Lab or Sandia folks were testing trying to make us -think- it was aliens. That or soft patch of mud followed by a stump/root in the path and subsequent side buckle of the wheel and rider ejection....
