While I like the cheap, plastic-coated hook and ceiling storage idea, that is not an option to me(unless I wanted to hang my bikes 12 feet up ). I cleaned out the room off the garage that is supposed to be for like a lawntractor, tools etc. and put up some Rubbermaid Fast Track. They make a nice bicycle mount for it. So far, so good. BTW the Fast Track stuff is awesome. Other manufacturers make their own version of it. Works great!





Why I didn't hang from the ceiling. 12 feet high and finished. Didn't want to mess with the finished look:
