Front on right is common in Europe. Lot's of people in the States flip their levers around to be that way. I used to that, but fell out of the habit for various reasons.

I agree w/Stealthhammer. LOL! Do warn your friends if you loan the bike. I still remember the time one of my friends just about went flying over the bars because I didn't think to warn him I'd flipped the levers around.
