Bikes: Specialized Sequoia Elite/Motobecane Fantom Cross Team Ti/'85 Trek 520

I really have no idea but if the bulge like that extends all the way around the tube under the headbadge, it would remind me of a seam where 2 tubes were butt joined/attached by the factory and not finished perfectly.
