Right pedal, right hand (normal, clockwise to tighten) thread; left pedal, left hand (reverse, clockwise to loosen) thread.

Do yourself a favor and get or borrow a proper pedal wrench for removal and grease the threads when reinstalling to ensure easy removal next time. I use Tef-Gel anti-seize and also fit stainless pedal washers to all of my pedals. They always pop right off.
