That may be a recent specification change. I bought an R230 a couple years back and it requires a 31.6 seatpost, but I see the current website also specifies 27.2. However if you look at some reseller sites (
like this one) it still lists the 31.6 seatpost diameter. This is news to me too. Best to check directly with Lynskey.
