Here's some help to keep from losing money on Ebay. Decide what the minimum amount you will take for the item & make that your opening bid. You won't get as many bids but 1 bid to make money or break even is better than 12 bids that lose you money. Also, figure the most you'll get for the item & put that in as a Buy-it-now price.
Save on shipping-1) add $1 S&H to low price items & a bit more for more expensive items 2) lots of small bike parts are light enough (13oz or less) to go USPS 1st Class Package, much less than Parcel Post, 3) make your packages as small & LIGHT as possible, 4) weigh your item in it's shipping package before listing then add a bit more weight to the shipping cost; price all 1st Class Packages as 13oz & for heavier items round up to next highest Lb. Figuring your shipping charge this way usually covers shipping & fees so you get to keep the entire bid amount.
