Hello all. I have found this forum very motivating. I have been a bike rider in a past life (I quit riding 7 or 8 years ago) and have always been a Clydesdale. After I hit 300lbs a couple of months ago and the doc put me on HBP meds I figured it was time to get off my butt and start to ride again. I bought a great new bike (a Redline Conquest Pro cyclocross rig) I figured the beefier setup would be less likely to be crushed by my fairly significant weight. I only got my bike a week ago and have got a few rides in. My first rides have been so short (12 miles) and painful that I realize that it is going to be hard to get back into cycling shape but I am ready to do it.

Here are a couple of pics.....
