Bikes: Skunkhumper Team, 05 Poprad

A question for all the Schwinn Cogniscenti here: I know Schwinn quit sponsoring 7 Eleven in '81 (ish), but were there any teams that were sponsored in the '83 season that would have gotten Paramounts built, as opposed to pulling them "off the rack"? I'm still trying to get my head around why my paramount came with a Superior headbadge (could have been a replacement), has a generic BB shell with unmitered chainstays and a simple tube, rather than investment cast, brake bridge. There could be a lot of explanations; Pastor Bob suggested it could be a repair or just a generic (rather than custom), Richard Schwinn says it's a Marc Muller and mistakes were made... I wonder if it's someone's personal "one off", some type of prototype or a cancelled order that was just sent out the door as a Superior rather than being scrapped. Lots of speculation, and Mr. Schwinn indicates that records during this time were sketchy (it WAS the '80s and I know what I was doing...).
One last possibility: Could it have been a team bike of some kind that was built to perform rather than look pretty? There is only one color of paint inside the head tube: orange red. Lots of Euro builders spec-ed no frills frames for teams.

It's a Paramount with lots of Paramount features, including the Serial # (F83100), but a lot of other things just don't make sense. I'm just really curious.
