I won't go bigger than 28c, I have fenders (and they are road fenders, good for up to 28c). I don't even want to risk having tires too big! Besides, I think 28c is a good compromise. I was thinking the (Panaracer) Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy tires. They seem to always get good reviews, and should be a far more supple tire than those stock Specialized bricks!
