Bikes: Trek 1.2 triple

Would this be too much?

I'm teetering between doing 85 miles and 100 miles on an organized ride this weekend. I've never done 100 miles before, but I really would like to accomplish that sometime... and I see this as a great opportunity.

The longest ride I have ever done in my lifetime is also around 85 miles (day 1 of MS 150), and the two longest rides I have done THIS season is 67 miles 3 weeks ago, and 75 miles last week.

Doing 100 miles would mean a 33% increase in mileage from the week before - although I have been resting a lot this week. Whereas doing 85 miles would only be a 13% increase from the previous week.

No bike fit issues over 75 miles despite going out too fast and getting dropped at 50 miles, and this time I am promising myself that I will pace myself and not go too crazy in the beginning.

What do you think, 85 or 100? I keep going back and forth.
