At 85 miles I thought - 15 miles to go and I'm going 15mph - one hour more. Fifteen minutes later I thought 12 miles to go @ 12mph - one more hour. At 10 miles I was going 10 mph. It was the longest hour that month. I made the decision to do the full century before the wind turned against us. That was about mile 60.
I've had some rough commutes. You know the wind is bad when you're going downhill and you have to pedal hard to keep moving.
