Is this tongue in cheek? Of course you should. Most folks ride clinchers for training and save the tubies for races, especially if you have carbon clinchers, thereby eliminating any need to swap brake pads. Why risk a $70+ tire to the whims of the flat gods, when you can easily carry a tube and CO2.
I've been riding with a bit less pressure than I was for awhile, experimenting. I weigh 190# and had been running 130psi, but have been trying them (Vittoria Corsa Evo) at 110. Definitely not as harsh. Gonna try the recommended 120r 115f today.
