My version of a repair stand was a 2x4 between a ladder a table, and I was constantly making do with tools that were almost right but not quite right. So I will be taking that money and making it so that my projects go easier and faster and then I can do more of them. the whole workshop/tool thing is an
essential part of this "hobby" (obsessive disorder ?). This will be
great fun for you and may serve to get you in other kinds of trouble.
Notably, excessive tool purchases are much more easily hidden
from one's significant other. Also, you now have reason for forays
into the wrench forum, where there are many, many threads devoted
to tools, workstands, and the like.
Just to show I still love you even though you're not gonna run
