Agree 100%. I have both the BB7s and Shimano XTR hydraulic (different bikes of course) and they are quite different. The BB7s are fine, but they don't stop close to as well as the XTRs. I like the BB7s for the bike they are on, but it takes a significant amount of effort to come close to, and not actually get to, what I can do with the hydraulic system.
