Some brain pickin'

Hey guys,

Somewhat of a newbie here, and I'd love to be able to get some opinions and thoughts on a used 2005 Jamis Eclipse.

I'll be riding it primarily as a commuter in San Francisco, but I also love stretching my legs and going for longer weekend rides (20-50miles). I'm 6 feet tall, and weigh in at a "healthy" 200lbs. My legs are a bit long, and my torso slightly shorter than most in my range.

The 2005 Eclipse has the combo Reynolds 853 aluminum with carbon fiber. The bike is 59cm. Given that this is my first "light" bike, how do you think I'll fare with the carbon fiber given my weight?

Also, I'd be curious to hear what you think might be market value for it (remember I'm in SF). Here's some more info:

24 speed shimano tiagra, Wing flex seat, shimano sora flight deck triple, fsa ea70, Easton ec70 fork. Tektro breaks.

Not the best the components, but that's not a priority for me.

Thoughts?
