Bikes: Nothing amazing... cheap old 21 speed mtb

Riding with one spoke missing?

Today my rear wheel decided it had had enough and one spoke came loose. I road her home and with the aid of some electrical tape secured the spoke from causing injury. So I have a wheel a tiny bit out of true. It doesn't affect the brakes because they discs.

Is it safe to ride on 35 instead of 36 spokes? Obviously there is going to be more stress and I need to fix it soon. However, I have some commuting to do this week and don't really have the time to fix it until tomorrow.

I could ride the backup bike.. but its so much less fun to ride.
