The bike is at Performance, and I didn't take any pics before I took it in. I really thought when I took it in that it was covered under warranty, and I didn't even think about it until after I dropped it off. Of course, now I'm pissed at myself that I didn't. I'm on vacation tomorrow - I might look to pop in to take some pics. That's the other thing that initially convinced me that the dropout failed - the break looked pretty "clean" (no bending - it just looked like it snapped).

Wouldn't it have bent a bit before it snapped if the derailleur went into the spokes?
