To say there's a lot of vintage bike-fixing expertise here in C&V is something of an understatement. There are guys here always willing to advise on any issue you might encounter - but much of what you need to know is neatly organized here on Sheldon Brown dot com. . It is definitely worth your time to absorb as much as you can there.

- And the Head Badge website referenced above is a must for Raleigh fans.

Also, as you'll need to research components from time to time, another excellent resource is Velobase. It's like a big internet Coop for knowledge on bike parts!

- And the more you hang out here in Bike Forums C&V, the more you'll learn - Not just about maintenance and repair, but about the history, utility and desirability of every manner of C&V road bike and 3-speed.
