Today had asses galore. Temperature was a beautiful 55 degrees, and it was cloudy all day—no sun at all. I saw people shivering today. They must be sedentary. I think we got a small cold front or something. I caught the first bus nice and dandy. When I approached my next bus stop, I noticed another bike rider, so I rode toward the direction where my next bus is coming from to check the status of the bike racks on it. Lo and behold, there's already another bike on it, and there's only room for two bikes. Normally in these situations, I back track to the previous stops of my next bus, so I can get my bike on the rack before the other geezer can. Yes, it's sneaky, but the bus I came off didn't allow enough ample time for me to do that. At this point, I'm debating whether I should ride a few miles to catch the boat or see if the other bike rider is coming off or the bus driver would allow me to carry my bike in the bus. Well, the ass of a bus driver who's already late didn't let me, and it's raining a bit, so I hurry up to catch the boat. The headwind was just awful, and I needed to take it easy, because I did hard workout yesterday, and I wanted to do another tomorrow. I just hate seeing my speed below a certain point with a higher exertion. Times like this make me want to get a p meter. On the other side of the water, I get just about every red light you can imagine. I also had to take a detour because of construction. I don't mind detours, but it's raining although not heavy I didn't want it to get heavier. I don't know what's up with all the motorists with brake lights not working, but they're all out there. I got behind a woman in an SUV trying to parallel park. Let's just say it took about an hour. The commute was pretty drawn out, and it's raining. Luckily, my commute back didn't have much rain. I catch the bus to go through the tunnel. It's backed up, and I missed the next bus. I just rode my bike the rest of the way. Because of all the asses and traffic buildup, my commute back home had a bunch of asses on the road. It was much busier than usual. My stupid camera wouldn't turn on. I had to stop and master reset it to turn it back on. There's this steep hill I have. What I do is go through a residential route and set myself up for a traffic light before the hill. Otherwise, on the main road, there would be a lot of traffic behind me when the light would turn green. I do this for a speed run with little traffic behind me before the hill. There are really, really bad bumps and cracks that run along the road right before that stupid hill. I believe they knocked my rear brakes out of adjustment one time. What I like to do is ride along the middle of the right lane to avoid the worse part of the bumps, and with no traffic behind me I can do that.
