My LBS, Bickel Cycles in Burlington, rebuilt my wheel with all new spokes on my rim and Sachs 7 speed hub, AND installed a new bottom bracket for $65 total, including parts, so I think a $50 charge is possible if you are lucky enough to have a great bicycle store nearby.
