My local LBS is saying that a stock 36 spoke wheel should do me for a while, but recommended that I aim to get something more
robust in time to come. My chum, Andy, who is a former MTB competitor has said similar, but thinks I should be good for the first 500 miles or so (pretty much this summer.)
Still haven't decided on the bike, my LBS has recommended the
CUBE Attention, but no one here has even mentioned CUBE as a make... So I'm reluctant to go ahead now!
Cube are well know brand in Europe and Australia. Not so much so in the States.
