The difference between the FX and 7000 series, is that the 7000 series are comfort bikes and the FX series are a bit more aggressive (you can always get a adjustable stem). Comfort bikes does provide more of an upright comfort position etc, but they are much slower than other bikes on the road (besides mountain bikes).
Plus most of the bikes that you've listed comes with a suspension fork. Which will add more weight. Making it much slower. If you aren't going off roads or do at least 50% off roads, then you do not need a bike with suspension.
For city, pavement roads I suggest a road bike or a flat bar road bike that has no bigger than 32mm tires. Bikes like Trek 7.3 and higher, Fuji Absolute series, Specialized Sirrus series, Giants Escape series etc.
