Update:
After another session (final) cleaning of the frame to get the last bits of dirt, grease and small rust freckles off the corners and crevices off the lugs, I decided to start hanging components on the frame:

I decided not to even mess with the Phil Wood BB for now as it looks to be in good health...and I'm not hot about spending the 30 bucks for the special removal tool which comes only in pairs. I also left off the 1st gen drillium DA crank for now as I'm seriously thinking going full Campy 1st gen NR/Record on this re-build.
Was finally able to remove the Zeus 2000 FW from the rear hub and was able to clean and relube the internals. Used the trick suggested by someone in this forum of slipping off the drive side of the axle by knocking it off with a rod from the non drive side skewer hole and finally get my Park FW remover on it. I would have never guessed that the drive side half of the axle on the Phil Wood rear hub came off like that! Thank you for the suggestion!

Still looking for brake pad holders for the 1st gen NR calipers, but was able to find one at my LBS (for a measley 8 bucks) in mint condition (after I cleaned off the dust and grease from it) Also just bought a second one for the right side at eBay for a good price. Still hunting for another pair then some pads. I'm also looking out for a Cinelli 1A stem in 110mm extension legnth to replace the too short 90mm on that came with the bike.
I also decided to go with the Selle Italia Daytona saddle as seen mounted on the bike already, instead of a Concor which I was considering. The tail rivets and shape, plus the very American name "Daytona" on it seems to be very appropriate to this American bike.
The original clamp on NR shifters turnde uout to be loose on one side and the clamping band seems to have been deformed quite a bit form being installed and removed a few times, so I'm also looking out for a possible replacement soon. The wheels on the bike were the ones that came with it. Not really excited about the dark (amber) colored sidewalled Conti Super Sport tires on the MA 40s, and the dark anodizing. More appropriate Nisis, Fiammes or Super Champion silver tubular rims could be in the bike's near future to replace the MA40s.
Didn't win the last California Mega Lotto as I hoped, so the re-build might a bit more time to finish.....

Maybe by mid or late summer if the budgets hold up?
Can't wait to finally ride it!
