This bike was designed for drop bars, so it's more of a rescue than a conversion.
It's my first non-CX road bike since I was a teenager. The brakes aren't as much of an improvement on cantis as people often claim, but I love the way it corners.
One of my friends has a Lemond and loves it. Looks like you made a huge improvement putting it back to a more original state. Now when are the lights, fenders, rack etc.. going on?
