I have used a bunch of different brands and models and I too like the Planet Bike Protegé 9.0 wired model as well as any. The one piece of advice that I would stress is to skip the wireless models regardless of brand. I tried several and they all had issues with interference from neon signs and other rf noise. It is not good to come out of a diner or store to find that your computer thinks it went 60 miles while the bike was parked.
