Rode in the Rain
Well, I almost didn't ride in yesterday since they were predicting rain. However, the rain was supposed to come early afternoon, and I would be riding late afternoon. Of course, since I decided to ride in, the rain started about 10 minutes before I left. It was a pretty steady rain, but not a torrential downpour.
About 10 minutes in I had reached critical mass. I figured, there's only so wet you can get. Once I got home I determined that almost 1/4" of rain fell on my half hour ride. And there nothing like riding in the rain to push you to a personal best. I beat my prior personal best by over a minute and I beat my morning ride in by more than three minutes.
I had to turn down about five offers for a ride home from coworkers. Al in all, it really wasn't too bad. Just need to get a better jacket.
