Big problem for motorcycles too. The fact is many people are not well equipped to judge the speed of an oncoming vehicle. The smaller size of motorcycles and bikes seems to exacerbate the problem even further.

Accordingly, and sadly, the way to ride is to always assume they are going to pull out and be ready.
