Ive got this popping and it sounds like its coming from the right side of my crank.It only pops once about every 10 to 20 miles or so and it just started this year.Its a 2011 Surly LHT.Got less than 2000 miles on it.The crank and bottom bracket are stock and I put a Chris king headset and Phil wood touring wheel set on the bike and a new Shimano chain.I took it to my LBS and they checked everything.Took the back wheel apart,it was ok and pulled the bottom bracket and crank arms off, inspected everything and regreased it before they reassembled it.They checked the chainring bolts too.I dont know what else to do.
