that's weird. i would have sworn that my forte campus pedals were lighter than my a-530 pedals. however, my a-530s are 4 yeasr old and maybe shimano has lightened the design a bit since then because my a-530s defintiely feel kinda heavy.

either way, the weight between the two isn't a huge difference and at half the cost and better reliability from my experiences, i'd still recommend the forte campus over the a-530.
