About 4 years ago I retired a Nishiki Olympic 12 that I had ridden for 35 years. I never looked at other bikes because my bike was all I ever needed. I started learning about steel vintage bikes 4 years ago in order to replace my old Nishiki, and I have spent lots of time and trial and error with Pinarello, Bianchis, Faggin, Battaglin, Merckx, DeRosa, etc. and the one person who helped me more than anyone else was OFG (OldFatGuy)! John I don't know if you monitor the site still, but here's a huge shout out to OFG. I wish he were back and I wish he were granted the same clemency as we give to other people in society.
