Around here (east side of Atlanta) I can go as little as 2 blocks before I have to put a foot down because of traffic, traffic lights, etc.
Some sections of my ride I can go a whopping 1.5 miles (wow) before I have to put a foot down.
When we were in Florida in February and March, I could ride 10-15 miles without putting a foot down. Surprisingly my average speed when up dramatically.
