Anyone who'd kiss a dog is nuts to worry about this stuff. Come to think of it, kissing a spouse probably subjects you to a lot more germs than a water bottle that hasn't been washed for a few weeks.
Okay, Dogs are effin' gross. And stupid.
But I let my cat lick my ice cream cones and lick salt off my potato chips.
And maybe if we could re-define "cleaning," then I could say that I clean them often. Before every ride, I "clean" my bottles by emptying out any leftover water and then adding more water.
I've probably cleaned my bottle cages more than I've cleaned the actual bottles.
