It looks to me like the chainstay is dented. Plus the botched panto on the fork. I would specifically ask if the chainstay is dented. And even mentioning that Eddie Merckx stuff just seems bogus to me. DeRosas go for big bucks and if this frame was perfect it might not be too bad a price but...
