Indeed. The competitive urge is healthy and without it there wouldn't be as much drive to develop things and skills. So far I have not managed to have many passable roadies or commuters on my route but I do see them coming the other way to wave at on the way by. Interestingly though, the commuters seem to wave and smile like it is expected and the uniformed groups seem to look at it wierdly. To each their own.
