Well when I was in high school I swam pretty competitively, and I shaved it all for district championships. Chicks were entertained/curious about my shaved legs, so I let them touch it. Yeah, I shaved for swimming. I only had one dude (tool) in PE that tried to make fun of me. Everyone else looked at me like I had dedication to my sport and thought it was pretty cool.
One recommendation for shaved legs: silky pants. Contemplating shaving now just for the silky pants.
