I've only known Armadillo's. The LBS was a friend and it was all he sold. But, he sold the business and I feel no obligations now. Maybe I will give them a shot next time. My commuter had 2500 miles on the dillo's with no flats. I had to change tires when I noticed the rubber was splitting and I could see the kavlar liner. I thought I was going to lose traction. It pretty much sold me on them. I have over 10K miles on it and am on the 4th set. I now run 35's (biggest size that would fit between the forks) on the commuter and a 23/25's on the road bike.
